Regression Mix 027 - June 1985


Let's go back to June 1985, when the first public meeting of the Green Party took place, and Air India Flight 182 crashed with 329 people on board, and in the US, Route 66 was officially decommissioned. The Bond movie ‘A View To A Kill’ was still riding high at the box office, whilst ‘Mad Max:Beyond Thunderdome’ and Billy Connolly’s ‘Freedom’ were also released. On TV ‘Bulman’ and ‘V’ both made their debuts on British TV screens. Bruce Springsteen’s album 'Born In The USA' climbed back up the top position in the UK charts on the strength of the third single released from the album ‘I’m On Fire’ coupled with the title track, whilst The Pogues release their second single from the forthcoming album ‘Rum, Sodomy & The Lash’. All those memories, feelings and long past moments which made you who you are today. Now take a deep breath and let’s begin…
