Regression Mix 020 - October 1977

Updated: Dec 16, 2021

EXCLUSIVE TO SUBSCRIBERS ONLY! Hello. Listen carefully! I am going to take you back. Back to October 1977, when the last test taxi flight of the Space Shuttle Enterprise took place in California. Lufthansa flight 181 was hi-jacked on it's flight to Somalia and the world lost three members of Lynyrd Skynyrd in a plane crash, and the legend that was Bing Crosby, just weeks after losing Elvis Presley and Marc Bolan. George Burns starred as God in the film comedy 'Oh God' whilst David Soul climbed to the top of the UK singles charts, whilst classic albums were released by Queen, Ian Dury, The Stranglers, ELO and the Sex Pistols, as well as Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out Of Hell' album, which although took a while to enter the UK charts, then took residence for over ten years selling in excess of 50 million copies. The Fonz made his London TV debut in the nostalgic US sit-com 'Happy Days', as did the long running Australian soap 'The Sullivans'. All those memories, feelings and long past moments which made you who you are today. Now take a deep breath and let’s begin.
